6 Things to do Before Baby Birth

Before Baby BirthThe birth of a child is an exciting and highly anticipated time for new parents, more over if it comes to the very first baby. Before the big day comes, there are several important tasks should be considered. By handling these tasks before the birth of your baby, you can enjoy the birth and the time with your newborn.

1. Plan your baby-post budget
Make sure you already know your responsibility for the hospital bills. Understanding your coverage will save you an unpleasant surprise once your baby is born. Having a baby also often means a reduced household income, at least for a few months, so learn to cope with this ahead of time makes the transition a lot easier. You may do research. Take advice, read product reviews. Draw up a baby list so you don’t waste money on things you don’t need.

2. Pamper yourself
Get your hair done, have a long, candlelit bath, book into a spa for a day, Watch movie, read a book from start to finish in one sitting, enjoy a lazy Sunday with the papers, put your feet up and do nothing all day, set a holiday with your partner. You may not have time later.

3. Do conversations
Have an honest conversation with your partner about what you expect from him before and after the birth and listen when he tells you what he expects from you.

4. Invest in some comfy, chic post-baby fashion
After you’ve given birth, your tummy will take a while to shrink down to its pre-baby shape, so treat yourself to some comfy day wear to wear post-birth clothes. Choose stretch fabrics like leggings, which are versatile, and have a few tracksuits on standby for days when you want to cover up, this will make you keep being stylish.

5. Eat a balanced diet.
Don’t eat for two – but equally, don’t try to diet either. Instead, eat when you’re hungry and eat regular healthy snacks. Sudden blood sugar highs can affect your baby, too – including their food choices in later life.

6. Have a final shopping spree
Treat yourself, before all your cash goes on prams and baby wear. If you don’t want to splurge on maternity wear, you can still treat yourself to some jewelery or shoes, or indulge your nesting instinct and buy a gorgeous new throw for your bed or some sparkly.

Talk to your partner about how you want to capture your birth experience. Scrapbooking, journaling, and birth photography are all great options you should consider and add to that things-to-do list :idea
