At last, a good reason to have a baby when you’re over 35 - it’s been found to reduce the risk of ovarian cancer.
Researchers at the University of Southern California discovered that women who had their child over 35 lowered their risk of ovarian cancer by 58 per cent, compared to women who’d never had children.
Women who had children when they were younger also lowered their risk, but a bit less dramatically - 16 per cent for those who had all their kids by 25 years old, and 45 per cent by age 30.
